In order to further encourage students to combine scientific theoretical knowledge with practice, improve students' practical ability and enrich their extracurricular life, the Physics Group of the Junior High Department of the west campus held the ‘Eggs Bashing the Earth’ competition on the afternoon of May 7, 2021, which is also one of the traditional characteristic activities of Anqing Foreign Language School.
During the preparatory stage, all the contestants of each class rushed to sign up for the activity and made full use of their spare time to discuss the production ideas with their physics teachers. With the students' novel ideas and the teachers' meticulous guidance, the excellent works stood out one by one. Therefore, the teachers could not help but thumbed up to the students. It turned out that the students had marvelous hands-on skills!
Later on, it's time for inspection. As the referee gave the order, the students threw their works to the target area from the fourth floor as required. Of the 22 entries, 18 stood the test. The eggs were intact and landed accurately. The audience cheered and applauded from time to time, cheering for the contestants.
Finally, according to the rules of the competition, after the measurement and judgment of the judges, 4 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 10 third prizes were determined. Let's thumb up for the students' spirit of exploration and practice!
